love what you do

In the 4th grade classroom I've been subbing in for the last 6 weeks, we put up a Quote of the Day before we get started each morning. Every quote was selected and hand written by the teacher's daughter and every quote sparks a new discussion.

For obvious reasons, this one is my favorite:

The only way to do great work is to love what you do - Steve Jobs
"The only way to do great work is to love what you do." - Steve Jobs

Let's not forget that on this seemingly normal Tuesday in September.

Love what you do!

As a part of my new initiative to flesh out my creative side I realize that reading needs to be a priority. I've committed to share my bookshelf and my thoughts on what I've been reading. If you haven't already, catch my first bookshelf list and my first book report

December's bookshelf reading list:
- The Innovators by Walter Isaacson
- Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson
- The Creative Habit by Twyla Tharp (also seen on my November bookshelf)
- David and Goliath by Malcolm Gladwell

I'm several hours into each one of these books on Audible. I just can't keep but hopping between them! This reading thing is really catching on.

What books are on your bookshelf wishlist? Any to recommend?
