slow and steady wins the race | how I relax

I feel as if I've been going a million miles an hour recently.

But I've discovered a few things that have the ability to relax me even on the craziest of days.

One of those things is coloring in a coloring book.

I had the urge a few weeks ago. Target only had extremely kiddy ones and for 2 seconds I almost bought one entirely about puppies. Then, I saw this grown up coloring book on a Paper Source email and knew this was the one. The images are hand-drawn and are so beautifully detailed.

My sweet Apple Guy knew I was obsessed with obtaining the book and so he had it waiting for me upon my visit. #majorpoints

A quick trip to buy some new colored pencils [anyone have any non-Crayola ones they recommend?] and I was in business.

Over the last few weeks I have spent a few hours here and there carefully decorating the shell of the cutest tortoise and coloring in a rainforest with immersive trees and I don't regret a single minute of relaxation it has provided.

What are some of your relaxation activities? My other's include running, yoga [I'm a total of 1 day into this], playing Cooking Fever on my iPad [judge me] and playing with my sweet pup Woz.
