A few weeks ago I mentioned that one of my current focuses is filling my time & mind with books. I made a bookshelf wish list and set out to read. Well, it's time for a book report!
No, I did not read all 4 books. I actually added a few to my docket [more on December's bookshelf later this week] and some were never opened. But I read! And that's all that matters.
The Creative Habit by Twyla Tharp.
I'm 2 chapters in and can already tell this is going to be one that is read and re-read over the next season of my life.
“Creativity is a habit, and the best creativity is a result of good work habits. That’s it in a nutshell.”
Very early stages of this one but it already has my brain spinning.
“One third to one half of Americans are introverts—in other words, one out of every two or three people you know.”
That one statement alone is a reason every person should dive into this study of introverts.
Thanks to Audible I've also been listening to Jobs and The Innovators, both by Walter Isaccson. More on these books later this month!
So there you go! One month-ish down. No books were finished but many thoughts were formed. And that's the point! I'll finish these eventually but for now I'm enjoying one page at a time.
