skillshare

In college you pay to learn from professors highly skilled in their field. You learn from books and lectures and group projects. Though most students find that what “sticks” with them years later isn’t the chapter they drowned in highlighter ink, it’s the experiences and the times they sought out new information because it was meaningful or important to them.

One of the things I love most about this digital age we live in is our ability to seek out new learning with the simple click of a mouse.

My new favorite tool to do just that is Skillshare

Skillshare is a collection of video classes on marketing, culinary arts and everything in between.

Want to learn more about meat? There’s a class for that.
Want to learn how to design your own board game? There’s a class for that.
Want to learn how to develop an iPhone app? There’s a class for that.

Over the break I’ve been able to dive into a few classes and there just simply isn’t enough time in the day for all the awesomeness that is Skillshare.

Can that just be my job? Full time Skillshare-er. I’d hire me.

A few of my recent favorites:

Wanna try it out? You can get a whole month for free. That’s cheaper than a whole box of fine dark chocolates delivered right to your door. Although that would be significantly more delicious.

Already a Skillshare-er? Any classes you have to recommend? I'm always looking!
