I was introduced to TED in college when I was assigned to watch a talk for my world geography class. I don't remember much about that talk, but I know that the accompanying sidebar of other TED talks I might like changed my world forever.
I was instantly hooked on watching talks of every subject: art, world issues, technology, innovations, psychology, design and countless more.
I thought I would share with you some of my favorite talks from throughout the years, and if you haven't fallen in love with TED already, play a little matchmaking.
The first talk I want all of my people to see is How Playing an Instrument Benefits Your Brain by Anita Collins.
Totally mind blowing. It makes me want to put an instrument in the hands of every one of my students and it even encourages me to pick up playing the piano again!
What did you think? In love with TED? What are some of your favorite TED talks?
