I looked sheepishly at my Apple Watch activity tracker and noted that my last exercise activity had been June 11 [embarrassed emoji here.] I kept making excuses as to why I couldn’t go on a run: it’s hot, I’m moving, I’m traveling, I’m not feeling it, etc.
But then I was over it. I strapped on my shoes and ran out the door. And I didn’t stop. For over a mile. Um, what? I thought I’d only inch out a few minutes of running intervals, but a mile without stopping? Cool. Not bad after completely falling off my running plan.
Run one mile every day in July. That’s it.
HOW I’M TRACKING IT
I have already written “run” as the first of 3 action items for every single day in July in my Get to Work Book. I need it in my face every day and to be able to cross that baby off each day the perfect motivation.
SPEAKING OF MOTIVATION
I’m still working on my ending goal. So I’ll get back to you on that one.
